Hands-On Drone Flight Training – DJI Matrice Series
We instruct hands-on with students using all flight modes. Flight system specific information that may be covered includes initial setup, upgrading firmware on both the flight system and batteries, charging and maintaining batteries, installing and using DJI apps, using remote controller settings for different modes, component maintenance and replacement, and geo-fencing. Hands-on practice may include calibration, take-off and landing using both automatic and manual modes, hovering using the vision system, using the Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) system, obstacle avoidance, 2D Orthomosaic planning and flights, 3D Oblique planning and flights, Linear route planning and flights, Waypoints planning and flights, return-to-home, camera/sensor operation, multiple payload configurations, emergency procedures, and 3rd party flight control apps. We also cover additional practical topics including charging batteries in the field and connecting external monitors, and we provide tips and tricks to maximize the performance and functionality of the system.
One-day classes ($545) and two-day classes ($995) are available. Students may bring their own flight system, and training is currently offered at our Victor, NY location during business hours. Advance registration is required.
